Six Bedrooms and Four Bathrooms Loch View Property

Stronachlachar Lodge was built as a hotel and its scale still reflects that history. Today it offers six bedrooms and four bathrooms arranged across a generous footprint, allowing extended families and larger groups to stay together without feeling confined.

Bedrooms are spacious and thoughtfully positioned, some looking directly across Loch Katrine, others towards woodland rising behind the house. The proportions allow privacy without separation. This is a house where three generations can gather comfortably, where children are not confined to one corner and adults do not feel crowded.

Bathrooms are distributed to ensure the house functions smoothly at full capacity. Mornings do not become a queue.

A Large Kitchen

The kitchen and dining room form the centre of the house.

Three ovens. Two dishwashers, fridges and freezers. Extensive preparation space. Full crockery and utensils provided.

Whether you are preparing a celebratory dinner, cooking for a birthday weekend or simply feeding everyone after a long walk, the space functions easily. Guests frequently comment on how well it works at full capacity and the dining table comfortably seats the entire group.

Living Space with a View

The lounge faces Loch Katrine and includes a multi-fuel wood burner. Large windows frame the water throughout the day as light shifts across the loch.

A separate games room with a pool table provides additional living space. Younger guests can gather without leaving the house entirely, while others enjoy a quieter time in the lounge

The flow of the house allows both shared moments and space apart.

Comfort and Practical Detail

Heating is provided throughout, including underfloor heating in key areas, ensuring comfort in every season. Starlink internet provides reliable connectivity despite the rural setting. Television with digital and satellite channels is available.

Practical facilities include a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Linen and towels are provided for all guests. Private parking is available at the house, and an electric vehicle charger is installed for guest use.

The gardens extend directly towards the shoreline. There is no road between the house and Loch Katrine.
